Factory height and lift of Silverados

Recommended Posts

I know that some Trail Bosses come with factory 2" lift.

My RST with 22"s seems a lot higher than my 'old 16 Z71. At correct tire pressure I get 40" from the ground to the upper lip of the rear wheel well and 37-3/4" from the ground to the upper lip of the front wheel well.

Would someone confirm what are typical normal and factory raised heights?

Nice Truck!  That sounds about right. I have an RST Z71 with 6.5 bed and tool box loaded and mine sits about 37 3/4” from pavement to the lip. For some reason I do not have much rake as the rear only sits 1/8” higher than front measuring that way. Maybe it is the longer bed and tool box.

Z71s use different number leaf springs and shocks on rear
