Bed mats...

Recommended Posts

I have a fairly good tonneau cover in the gator recoil and don't want to lose the way my white factory bed lights up with the LED bed lights but need a bed mat to assist in protecting my bed... does anyone have experience with these? the thickest and cheapest I have found is the RC bed mat.

Thank you all,

Chris J

Did you get the tailgate mat as well?  If so, do you have to screw it down?

I got the Bed Rug Mat in mine since the box already had a spray in bed liner.

Works great and quickly removable for some of the other loads I might want to shuttle around on this thing.

I'm in the market for a bed mat to keep things from sliding around on the spray in liner. With that said, it doesn't have to be a perfect fit or the best out there. What I'm finding is the Deezee is the least expensive.

I also have the RC bed mat. It definitely is heavy duty and overall I like it.. but beware of the "recycled materials" disclaimer in the description. Mine came with a TON of embedded brown carpet fibers. I sent RC a message and they acknowledged how bad it was and sent me a new one.. the second one was just as bad.

I just decided to keep it and ignore the aesthetic defects and use it as a beater bed mat to save my factory spray-in liner. Just something to keep in mind..

Hod did you get the Velcro tape to stick to the liner?

Sanded it a bit to give it some bite, Cleaned with alcohol really well, wiped it with adhesion promotor, and stuck it on.

Seems to be holding up well.

Ordered the Rough Country, and it gets here tomorrow.  Looking forward to having some protection down.

I agree with you mistermcgoo, mine had some yellow fibers in it but since it's under the tonneau cover, I really don't care that much, seems well constructed.

I was even able drill some 1/2" holes in the mat to accommodate the drain tubes from the tonneau..
