Help me identify the fastener

Recommended Posts

I think the proper term is T-Head bolt, it looks like a 3/4"-10  x 3" but it may be Metric?. I have seen these used in machinery quite a bit. I would probably stop by my neighborhood Fastenal store and get them to check the size and thread pitch (metric or standard) They can thread a nut onto the bolt to make 100% sure they got it right. Fastenal stores usually have a wide assortment of bolts and nuts on hand but they may not have access to this specialty bolt..... Once you figure out what it actually is you, can probably find a online source. If you are super motivated you can get a standard bolt and simply grind the head down to match your sample as closely as possible .All it does is set in the recessed hole and not turn when you tighten the nut onto it does not have to be perfect...............
