I'd be documenting this, keeping receipts, how long it's in the shop each time they're replacing it as this could give you teeth later whether it be possible lemon law, warranty extension, class action, etc.

I'd call GM direct and ask if this is a known issue and if not then suspect something in your vehicle may be causing these issues. Have you had any aftermarket accessories installed at the dealer or any other shop?

Could be a bad batch of radios but then GM and quite possibly the dealer would be seeing the issue.

If all else fails Google something such as "infotainment radio failing in 2020 ____ _____ vehicle and see if others are complaining elsewhere, etc.

I've had tons of problems with my infotainment, unfortunately they are very random and cant get anything done about it

I would start looking into lemon law, but not sure what the criteria are for these systems.

Just took delivery of a 2021 2500 HD All Star Edition and the infotainment system just quit on me.  I checked the fuses and they were good so I scheduled an appointment to bring it in.  Then it came back up fine the next time I started the truck.  Now I see that these systems have been causing problems for years and there is a class action lawsuit on the 7" screen....but the 2021 LT has the 8" screen.

I have a  2020 Custom crew cab with 7 inch screen , I just had it since august 16 times he radio has failed on me 4glte , direct usb connection  andriod or apple. i brought to the dealer twice for it.  The second time the radio erased everything while they where working on it and then asked me if i had another car to drive ,because the need to call gm and rip the entire dash off to check all cables,connections and box under the glove box.  They dont know how long i will be without it.
