Tires for 2020 Silverado with 22" Wheels

Recommended Posts

I just bought a 2020 Silverado RST with 22" wheels. At first I was excited but now I'm realizing that you can't find an AT tire in the recommended tire size.

Does anyone know alternate tire sizes that will fit without rubbing? I'm not really looking to add a lift or leveling kit as I like the height/stance of the truck.

Spare me the "22's are made for cruzing pavement, not off roading" comments. I'm not going hardcore off roading but would like my truck to look like a truck and handle a dirt road or curb every once and a while when needed. If you have any pics of your ride with 22's that would be appreciated!

What's the downfall of a heavier tire? I'm ok with the taller tire. I'd like to add as much height to the tire as I can without a rub.
Its going to ride more stiff like an actual truck. Its not a huge difference from the stock tire. Anything honestly is better than the alenzas that come in these trucks

Yes I too have been researching this. I also have a RST with 22`s and been looking at the 285/50/22 Ridge Grappler its a little over a half inch taller

and looks like about a half inch wider, but they are expensive around $1900.00 with everything so if you can get a test fit up before purchase  that would be the best.

I'm ok with it riding a little tougher. Like you said it's a truck! I want it to look like a truck!

You should go buy them, put them on and then tell me how they fit for my test up!?

I got the Terra Grapplers in 285/50/22 and have been happy so far, no rubbing. They are great in snow and ice, haven't used in mud yet. I do hear tire whine on the highway with the window down but doesn't really bother me.
