T1 AT4 wheels on K2

Recommended Posts

Just curious if anyone has done this? Been seriously considering it for more sidewall and better tire selection. That and I can buy brand new takeoffs wheels and tires with duratracs for the price of 22 inch all terrains alone lol.

Just not sure if it would look "right" on a denali. I do kinda feel like a denali does need the 22s with all the chrome and grille etc. Your guys' thoughts? Here is a crude photoshop.

I put T1 Sierra SLT replica 20s on mine with 275 65 20 duratracs. I like it. Nobody else has done it that I have seen. They are like a more modern honey comb wheel. From what I have read you cannot put k2 wheels on a T1 because they will hit the larger calipers (I have been waiting to see if T1 calipers will work on a K2).

Anyway.. the at4 wheels look sweet. Almost went with them. Keep in mind the tpms sensors are different for the new trucks. 3758bb31fe05e9498362d789b77d2931.jpga787ddada5d3feee16f45b7677c108ac.jpg2d8c8e2c2ecfade6cb3343ee45778d13.jpg

Dang those look really good! And no rubbing on those 275/65's? I'm assuming you have a 2.5" level?
2.25 level and add a leafs. I fabricated some steering stops to limit the travel so it does not rub. Tack welded to lower control arms. Went from 37 degrees to 31 degrees. I still have room so might grind a little off. Better than wheel spacers in my opinion

Those wheels are K2 wheels. They come on them. T1 is the 2019+ model. The wheels are a "new family" of wheels. Different offsets and sizes

I don't have an AT4 but I do have a K2 with T1 wheels on it.  These are the ones they offer through GM accessories.  18" silver/gold oxide ZR2 style.  Also, here is a link to a post in the thread I did a while back.  Last post there is an SLE or SLT with T1 AT4 wheels.

Man those look really good! They actually remind me of f150 wheels. That's not a bad thing.

It looks good. Just make sure you check the diameter of the brakes and the inside of the rim. The tpms sensors can be migrated to the new rims once you get them in.

Should be non issue on brake clearance new wheels to older truck.  Its the K2 wheels on a T1 truck where it becomes a problem with caliper clearance as the new truck has larger 4 piston fixed calipers.
