2019 Tahoe Heated Steering Wheel Upgrade Troubles

Recommended Posts

I have a 2019 Tahoe LS that I have been wanting to upgrade with a heated steering wheel ever since I picked it up. I have read many forums, picked out the right wheel and clock spring, but for the life of me I can not locate a plug under my dash. I have a wired fuse that is not hot.

The truck also has the power adjustable pedals.

Since it appears that there is no plug, I can order the custom wire harness but since the fuse is already wired, I am not sure this is the correct step.

Could it be that the 2019's were just that different?

You just need to add the wiring from that LH dash fuse block to the connector on the clock spring and to ground. The 2015-2020 full size suvs use the same fuse and junction blocks throughout the platform. The circuit is energized in the run/crank position.

I have removed the fuse block and the back of the heated steering fuse is already wired into the main harness. So I feel like I am missing something but I have spent so much time under the dash.

It does  not make sense that it would be wired but there I no plug to be found
