04 Sierra Drive by Wire issue

While key is on TPS reads 18% scanner says should be at 0%. This is giving me a MAF 0101 code. 2 new MAFS and throttle body later I’ve determined this may be a pedal issue. Any advise is appreciated! TIA!

If you google that P0101 code, then look at the diagnostic procedure for that code, you'll find there are a bunch of other things that can cause it to be generated, both wiring/connector problems, as well as intake problems.

The tps is a variable resistor. (Ie, closed: 0 resistance and all voltage returned, open is high resistance and half the voltage is returned.) If the wire harness is failing, it will induce additional resistance on the voltage signal

Check the circuit at the tps, the pigtail, and back at the ecu.
