Silverado tailgate letters - got pics of dark colored trucks with letters?

Recommended Posts

Apologies for such a “waxer” topic.

I want to put the raised plastic stick on letters on my 2020 Northsky Blue Silverado.  I was wanting subtle look and ordered black.  Unfortunately, they are just too close to the paint color, and don’t show up.

Anyone got  pics of dark colored trucks (black, Northsky Blue)  with other color letters? Chrome, Silver?

I went with the 3D domed letters with trim from BDtrims on Amazon (black with silver outline). I'm happy with how they turned out. Btw, I had some issues with a few of the letters having bubbles in them. I reached out to BDtrims on the issue and they sent replacement letters right out to me. wellllllllllllllllllllll -

I  liked the black with silver outline and ordered a set. I like them but my wife thinks they still don't show up good enough on my dark (Northstar) blue paint. She thinks the Chrome would look (i.e. show up ) better. Does anyone happen to have pics of chrome letters on a NS Blue, or black truck ?

i also have a northsky blue truck, it's an rst. i was interested in a black, or black with chrome trim letters to mimic the bowtie on the front. i want my truck to have a blue/black/no chrome look, i already have black running boards and tonnopro lo roll cover.

Be careful with the BDTrims sets. I ordered black domed style and every letter ended up needing polished as they all had finish flaws. Looked like fingerprints all over them. Also, be careful separating the backing from the domed style letters as the whole backing tape likes to separate from the letter causing bubbles under the dome. ALSO, mine were cut with a dull blade as there was a lot of the tape hanging over the edges of the letters.
