Brembo big brakes pads( aftermarket? )

Recommended Posts

I had a slightly warped rotor and the dealer suggested to replace the pads ,but the Brembo pads are $410....... I'm postponing the pad replacement.  Only 38k on the truck.  How long have they lasted on your truck ?

Is there an aftermarket pad for these out there?

Same truck from 17 with 55k not ready for brakes yet. Curious the answers you'll get.

Good to know that you have 55k on them.

Every search I do gives me the normal pads for non Brembo brakes.

They put on the GM p/n Brembo pads the old ones were worn to about 3mm or less in 38k. I haven't pulled a trailer yet and I'm very easy on brakes. The first 19k was done by someone else.

$400 is insane for pads and a complete scam on Brembo's part. I sure hope someone makes an affordable aftermarket replacement in the future.

GM is the only one that sells them so far.  The # doesn't interchange with any brands right now.

84263246 is the GM #.  National back order from GM.  Rotors are 84263238.

Thanks for the numbers,  I have put them in my file.
