Is disabling the airbag system on a 2019 Silverado as simple as disconnecting the negative cable from the battery? And waiting 15 minutes for the system to discharge?

Positive cable still connected is fine?

Is there anything I need to look out for when connecting the negative cable back on? Will there be any error codes?

  I have no display of transmission status on Dash ( no P,R,R D or L) a code has been set as i now have a Check engine light, Als "SERVICE STABIL TRAC " is displayed on the Info screen. The truck drives but fro engine RPM it seems to be in LOW gear Any Ideas ???

  Looks like you're correct. Got a call today telling me as much. They found a truck that has a lot of the right options, but a couple that aren't. It has chrome bumbers that I'm having trouble getting past cosmetically. It's also appears to be missing the 2 spd transaxle (4 wheel low), along with having several options I have no intersest in, or paying for.
