truck says offline

When driving my 2019 Sierra and want to make a call, I hit the phone icon on the steering wheel. Have been doing this over a year. Today when I went to make a call the lady voice says I am offline now so I can not complete your task, but you can see maps, make a phone call or play music. I pulled over and dialed thru the phone keypad and it went thru as normal on the radio (infotainment system).

 Anybody have any info about this.
