2020 5.3L gas mileage

My 5.3L / 8spd 2019 RST can be a bit all over the place. I've noticed this truck is very touchy with wind.

E.g. I have a slight headwind, and I'll "only" get 20mpg doing 70-75mph.

However, get a bit of a tailwind, and you'll get 26-28mpg doing the same MPH. It's really wild.

My 20 5.3 Z71 with 8-speed is averaging around 19 mpg. On the highway with the cruise set at 71-72mph, it will get upwards of 22mpg while occasionally clipping 23 mpg. Also owning an F250 gasser, this thing is ludicrous.

2020 SLT 8spd with 3100 miles. My trip B was never reset and it reads 17.8mpg. I feel that is pretty good considering I live in SoCAL and freeway driving is pretty much stop and go 75% of the time.

2020 Trail Boss 5.3 10 speed with around 900 miles. Also have a tonneau cover. First trip of a few hundred miles got about 19 MPG highway. Wasn’t too impressed. However I’ve heard MPG improves after break in. We will see.

My Elevation MY 20 work 8 speed was a solid 23-24mpg cruising 65-68 mph stock.

Once I added the level and upgraded to 285/60 AT tires, it's dropped to 21 MPG... Very happy with it.
