Brand new 2021 Silverado 2500 HD. Has 700 miles and the brake pedal squeaks so loud when pressed, everyone in the vehicle can hear it. Not only embarrassing, but really embarrassing for GM to have a 60k dollar pickup truck that sounds like it is 20 years old when you hit the brakes. So disappointed. Truck has been at the dealer just as many days as I've been able to drive it. Should have stuck with Ford.

If it makes you feel any better, Dan, it doesn't matter what brand you buy today. Every single one has problems. Automakers know there's an ass for every seat, and don't give 2 craps about quality control anymore.

You wouldn't believe the crap I see on my lift today ... and these vehicles are 4-14 years old! I can only imagine the surprises we'll get on this new crop ...

I've been through all of this and SOOOOOO much more with my 2007 Silverado 1500 4x4. Just finished a tranny install on it a couple weeks back. 103k miles on her now. The rear diff failed at 97k. Ball joints didn't even make 40k ... I could seriously go on all day ...
