2021 AT4 Yukon - Crease In Interior Door Panel

Noticed this on the passenger side of my Yukon AT4.  The molded dash is too close to the interior door panel and is leaving an imprint on it.  Not a problem now and hopefully not in the future.  Driver's side leaves no imprint.

That piece does not look like it is in all of the way, what does the drivers side look like?

 

I have made an "elbow dent" on my drivers door just by resting my arm that will never come out, same thing has happened in all 3 of the K2's I have had.
