Question: Dog Cover

Recommended Posts

i keep the rear seats up, and weathertech florr cover, and some sort of seat covers for the front, i use black sheepwool covers on my front seat, and slide a shirt or sweater slide over the center divider armrest to protect the plastic from snot and claws.  when my dog is dirty he lives in the bed

been toying with the idea of removing the rear folding seats and putting them into storage. then i'lll have way more room for Doggoo and gear

This is the one I use:

https://www.amazon.com/YesYees-Waterproof-Covers-Compatible-Middle/dp/B07STJR9KH/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=yesyees&qid=1611468919&sr=8-5

It covers about 99%. Only part it doesn't reach is some little slivers on the outsides of the seatback. I wanted something a little more "premium" looking to match my leather interior since I don't ever take it out unless I know I'm gonna have people back there. But it's been 10/10, I've been super happy with it.

I tried a seat covering from a big chain pet store.   I found the regular routine of washing it and removing it for passengers was more of a pita than periodically vacuuming and wiping down the bare back seat. I chose a truck with leather seats as this material is as kid and pet friendly as the traditional vinyl bench seats of yesteryear! ?

I use one from Amazon as well.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019EOQ6AK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I carry two dogs, Coon Hound and a Catahoula. 150lb between the two. Has worked very well for me for about 7 months now. Not bad for less than $20 to my door.

The key is getting one that is a hammock style to keep them from falling into the floor.
