Terrain Mode during “Off-road” (Video)

There were some post in the past asking about Terrain Mode (including by myself).  TFL tested the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade with the single speed transfer case going “off-road” using Terrain Mode.  For those who are interested.

Yeah, the eLSD on the Escalade and available on the AT4/Denali is way more legit than the mechanical LSD in the Tahoes. 

 

TFL did a video with a Yukon AT4 with the eLSD vs. their TB with the G80, and the Yukon was impressive. They went through the same terrain that they did here with the Escalade. 

 

This is the reason I'm not looking at the Tahoe Z71 vs. the Yukon AT4. Similarly spec'd, you get the eLSD, fog lights, and vented seats (and a HUD) with the AT4, for about $1500 more. Worth it if you are actually going to any kind of off-roading in these things.
