I have a 2014 GMC Acadia SLT-1. Last week I had an aftermarket radio with installed into my car. The guy who installed it was able to get everything to work except the steering wheel controls.

I have contacted the radio manufacturer and they told me that there would be a compatibility issue if the car's radio controls are digital. Otherwise, they said that it should work. The radio comes with two steering wheel control wires that the manufacturer told me need to be connected, however if there is just one wire, it should work by simply connecting the single wire to the first wire of the radio.

Can someone provide me with a wiring diagram that would tell me whether the factory system has two steering wheel control wires and does anyone know whether the steering wheel controls are digital? Thank you.
