Backup cam comes on with brakes?

Anyone have this happen?  It's intermittent.  I'll be on a drive where every time I hit the brakes, the backup cam comes on, others it doesn't happen at all.

 

I 'think' it might be related to the OPT7 I have hardwired in but curious if anyone else has experienced this before slicing and dicing things until it stops for good
