Question

1990 GMC suburban k1500 TBI 5.7L. - Parked truck one night and then wouldn't start next morning. Traced the issue to no fuel. Replaced the fuel fitler and fuel pump. Truck starts now, but idle is really, really high like the engine is going to blow up. Before we just start replacing parts. Thought we would ask for ideas. Thank you in advance for trying to help.
