"Hold on while we reinstall your app" message flashing on infotainment screen?

Tried disconnecting the battery for about half an hour... Didn't work.

Looked around in the menu system and found "running applications". I turned off everything it would let me and the message went away. Something must have gotten hung up. Restarted the truck and no message.

Hope this helps someone.

Mine started this yesterday. Fiddled with the settings with no luck.

Am I missing something?

I had the same issue and fixed. Go into the Home Screen swipe over to Apps. Click on My Apps. I deleted Spotify and Alexa. That did the trick. You may have other apps trying to update that you may have to delete to fix.

My 2020 Sierra started doing this Thursday and I’ve deleted Alexa and Spotify and no change. It comes on when I start truck and then goes away. Everything is working. I’m afraid to delete SiriusXM or an app I use cuz not sure u can get it back.
