Looking to buy 2022 LTZ 2500 with Advanced Trailering System. The dealer says the chip for the system isn't available but the window sticker says the option is on the truck. It is part of the price but not capable of all the advertised functions. They can't tell me what part if any of the functions will work now. They can't tell me if all the functions will work when the chips are available later. I want the truck but I need to know what I'm paying for and what I'm getting for my money. Any help will be appreciated.

This is happening on a lot of the trucks right now.  My local dealer told me the same thing essentially.  All trucks are being sold without certain features because the chips aren't available.  They are selling them to just move the trucks to allow for fresh inventory

Option - Advanced trailing system

+$2,500

Option deduction "no chips" - Advanced trailing system credit

-$50.00

Funny how to add this option it more than likely costs thousands, but when they deduct it because of part shortages they only deduct no doubt the real cost of this option lol.
