I have an 09 Sierra and I have an issue I haven't seen before. The speaker on the driver's side door works sporadically. I figured it would be wiring running into the door but I noticed that while the speaker is not working, the blinkers don't make a sound while blinking, but when the speaker pops on working the blinkers sound off like normal. I don't imagine this is a major deal to fix. I'm no mechanic and I'm not great with wiring either but I'd like to try to fix it myself if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is this a thing GMC with the 09 model?

It is a bad door speaker.  Very common for those years.  All of the chimes and turn signal noise plays through the drivers door speaker.

Get some aftermarket speakers (I replaced mine with Kickers) and kill 2 birds with one stone...replaces the bad speaker and gives you a little better sound

Thanks !  I just so happen to have a couple nice speakers I can jab in there. I was worried I had bigger issue than that.
