2021 Sierra AT4 - Power steering died

Recommended Posts

Today I started up my AT4 and the power steering died.  The stated I needed to get power steering service.  After a couple of restarts, it started working again.  Is this a known issue?  I already have an issue with my seat cooling where only the passenger side works, but as soon as I push the driver side the passenger side stops and neither work.  And the auto-stop engine doesn't work either.  Taking it in tomorrow, but seems like there is some computer/wiring issue from all the problems creeping up.

Don't know if any apply, but there is a long list of things that are supposed to prevent auto stop/start from stopping.

Auto Stops may not occur and/or Auto Starts may occur because:
. The climate control settings require the engine to be running to cool or heat the vehicle interior.
. The vehicle battery charge is low.
. The vehicle battery has recently been disconnected.
. Minimum vehicle speed has not been reached since the last Auto Stop.
. The accelerator pedal is pressed.
. The engine or transmission is not at the required operating temperature.
. The outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
. The vehicle is in any gear other than D (Drive).
. Tow/Haul Mode or other driver modes have been selected.
. The vehicle is on a steep hill or grade.
. The driver door has been opened or the driver seat belt has been unbuckled.
. The hood has been opened.

. The Auto Stop has reached the maximum allowed time.

Of course if there are a bunch of weird electrical things going on it may have nothing to do with any of these.
