Russia sanctions effect DEF URea manufactuering????

Recommended Posts

JUst curious but is the USA able to produce its own Urea from Ammonia nitrate stockpiles that are being blocked from Russian imports, or will this be another point of weakness for Americas manufactuering

Anti-Russian sanctions may stop Finnish diesel cars – media — RT World News

what are some alternatives to using DEF fluids?? I heard human urin contains lots of Ammonia, could one safely piss in the DEF tank on a diesel to safely operate the catalytic converter system and not go into limp mode??? Anyone try this?

If-When we get through this I hope we bring all important manufacturing  back to America-Canada. Of course the current administration still is trying to get oil from our enemies.

We can't find people who will work here now, how do you suppose we'll find that many more workers if some of jobs were to return to the US?

If'n you could mix your urine and water in the correct ratio, it might work.

I can't piss enough the way it is, to even make a dent in the tank capacity.

Finally a good reason to go visit the crazy cat lady.  Just have her collect the cat urine in plastic gallon jugs, and give it to the kids in the neighborhood.  Will save her money on kitty litter, and kids can sell urea instead of lemonade.

There is no shortage of DEF in North America. I work for the worlds largest producer of DEF and its in the US/Canada. All our plants are running and I have not heard of any issues with supply chains. The biggest problem is finding drivers to deliver it to bottling plants nobody want to work and there is a shortage of drivers.
