GM forum website overloads my PC's processor???????wtf is going on

Anyone on here know why this website is overloading my processor on my computer?  whats going on with this website, are they pulling data off my 'puter or what?

Might be Google ads trying to load. Are you using and ad blocker?

nope , i'll look into an add blocker, better yet get rid of google ads on the site!

much better now, i just blocked 200 trackers in 1 minute, lol

I have the same problem on both my new laptops but desktop is not as bad but still runs the processor up. On the laptops it will kick in the cooling fans for the processor. Iam not going to install ad blocker just for this site as I have tried several, ad blockers will create problems on other sites visited. I just stopped coming here as often until the problem is fixed. All I can say is ad infestation on here and not any issues on other websites.

i'm using Total Adblock at its works great, even on the annoying youtube popup banners, shuts em all down

Thanks pokismoki I installed it and it works great, I installed several and never seen this one thanks for the recommendation.
