Power folding tow mirrors

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra SLT 2500hd, I currently have manual folding tow mirrors, and the driver side door switch has a place for the power folding option, but doesn’t have the power folding button. If I buy the door switch with the power folding button and if I buy the aftermarket power folding tow mirrors is it plug and play?

Not sure. Problem is, all switch inputs go to the Body Control Module. Everything these days is controlled by magic boxes. It could be one of those things where if the BCM doesn't know the mirrors are there, they won't work. You'd have to figure out what wires are supposed to do what, and test them all prior to buying the parts. I'd wager you'd need the BCM programmed for these to work. Not 100% sure on that, though. Everything is a crapshoot today.

Don't think your current harness in the door will support the folding feature. They are different.
