Service ESC, Reduced Steering Assist, Service Parking Brake, and Service 4WD

This is the second time these waring messages have come on now. Both times it has been wet roads. When you shut the truck off the E-brake will engage and when you try to restart it nothing happens, all lights just turn off when you try to push the start button. I had to disconnect the negative battery post for a few minutes and the error messages clear and it starts and runs like normal. Any body had this happen and what was the fix. I will be calling the dealer today to talk about this. I do have a Pulsar LT installed that I will be removing before I take it in. Not sure if that is the issue or not. I do remember having the service parking brake message come on before I installed the Pulsar. 2019 6.2 AT4 46,000 miles. No misfires and runs smooth while the lights are on. Thanks for any help.

I had all of these come one yesterday then i drove it back home and the truck was rough idling, had it towed. Dealer called me this morning said it had a misfire and they would call me back

Yours sounds like a lifter issue. That is my guess. Mine is running perfect outside of the errors I already stated. Good luck.

Dealer called and said I have a leaking back window that is leaking onto the control module or whatever is behind the backseat. I hope this fixes the issue. They are going to replace the module and fix the leaking window. They should have it done in a couple days when the part comes in. I will update when I get it back.

Just happened on my truck, same exact codes/symptoms. Waiting for the tow truck right now.

  • 2 months later...

I know this is an old thread, but I am only seeing it now for the first time.  This happens to me about 1 or 2 times a month.  Sometimes it's when I start the truck, sometimes I get all those messages while I am driving.  I don't get a rough idle though.  I have to stop, disconnect, then reconnect the negative battery cable.  After that, it resets itself and everything is fine- until it happens again.  I too have the Pulsar LT installed.  I really don't want to get rid of it because I really like disengaging the DFM.  Any other word of what's going on?

Mine did this also, I had the Pulsar LT installed also, removed the Pulsar LT and have not had the issue again. It's been removed for about 2 months now with no more service warnings.

I was afraid the Pulsar LT might be the problem.  I think I'm going to email them and see if they have an update for the Pulsar LT that might fix this issue.  If they don't, I guess I'll just keep must socket set with me and disconnect the battery to reset the computer when it happens because I really don't want to get rid of disabling the DFM.  Now that these trucks and DFM have been out for a few years, are there any other devices or ways to reprogram/ re-tune the computer to get rid of DFM that wasn't available prior to the Pulsar LT?
