Drivers side blows cold and passenger side blows hot on

Recommended Posts

I have had this problem with a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax. My wifes jeep just went thru this problem, and in both cases it was the radiator that went out. For the 2012 b4 I got it, whoever's owned it was running prestone antifreeze. When dealership took it in, they changed it out to the GM dex antifreeze. They bother created a gel inside the radiator, and made it to where one side blew hot, the other cold.

I am suspecting same thing with my wifes jeep. It was under warranty, so they changed out radiators, did complete flush first, changed out thermostat, and it runs normal with heat and cold coming out both sides.
