Ahh...I see!

 

Page 547 which is connector P16 instrument cluster in here is the best way I can get it to you - 20_Sierra_1500_Electrical_Body_Builder_2019JUN20.pdf (gmupfitter.com)

Looking at the HUD schematics, connector X1 so that big one on pg 547 in the connectors guide, pin 20 is circuit 3894 Local Interconnect Network Serial Data Bus 12.  This circuit is between the HUD and the IPC, its terminal 1 connector X1 at the HUD.  Green wire black stripe.  

 

You should also have a LVDS cable from the IPC to the HUD, connector X2 on the IPC assuming you have a HUD spec cluster.

Great work getting the HUD retrofitted and working!  FYI,  I work in the glass industry and HUD windshields are very different from a regular windshield,  you are getting a lot of distortion and a double image as a result.  All of this will improve considerably if you were to swap out the windshield for the HUD windshield,  we have to control the surface in the projection area very tightly to eliminate these issues.

 

Just some information I hope is helpful...
