Glitchy radio/infotainment system/screen

Hi all,

 

so today when I restarted my truck after sitting a couple hours outside the radio didn’t come on only the Chevy bow tie was on the screen and that’s it. I tried hitting the power button and the running buttons etc and nothing. So I put it in reverse and the backup camera did come on and when I put it back in park it was back to the bow tie. So I turned the truck off and put it to the accessory key position (yup mine has one of those long lost key things) and finally the radio came on. 
 

then when I came out of the truck and ****** the door the bow tie randomly appeared on the screen again???

 

Anyone have any idea? Software update maybe needed?

I had a similar issue on a 2018 Silverado. I disconnected the truck battery for about 30 seconds and reattached it. That reset the radio for me

This issue has never come back luckily. That’s for your post though because that could easily have fixed it.
