Bleeding brakes after replacing a brake line on hydraboost brakes

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I busted the brake line going down the left frame rail to the rear flex hose that splits off to both rear brake calipers.

I bled the calipers at the rear with a little vacuum pump bleeder but the pedal still goes to the floor and is very slower coming back up.

Any advice on how to get me pedal back?

if you ran it out of fluid you will have to bleed all 4 wheels to get the air out of the abs module. it's gonna take a while with that small vacuum pump. take a bottle and run a hose from the bleeder screw into the bottle with some brake fluid in it and pump away til there's no more bubbles in the bottle. Don't run out of fluid in the master while you do it
