O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2 2006 chevy silverado lt 4x4

Replaced o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2 drove truck back and fourth from work couple weeks ago engine light came back on same code telling me it’s bad could it be catalytic converter is getting clogged. 2006 chevy silverado lt 4x4 5.3 liter

Could be. try adding a spacer to the sensor to move it slightly out of the exhaust stream and see if that fixes it or you could have just got a bad sensor?. it should throw at cat efficiency code not an 02 code if the cat is failing. an 18mm sparkplug antifouler makes a good spacer but you may have to drill the center out for the sensor to fit. what is the code and definition that you are getting?
