Transmission rebuild shops in the DFW metroplex?

Hey all 

     I am looking to get some quotes on rebuilding my transmission. I have looked up the upgraded parts and tools and considering rebuilding it myself. Mainly due to said parts and the big snap ring tool adding up to 2500 this far. I got my parts prices from what ever it takes transmission parts supply. 

 

Anyone have a shop they would recommend and how is your transmission functioning after the rebuild? Do I need to get a programmer for the transmission after the rebuild?

 

Currently the transmission still works. However I have noticed a little hesitation when I get going usually first drive of the day.

year make model, motor, trans, what do you want the truck to do(go back to stock or handle more POWER?

2014 silverado 5.3, 6l80 4x4. I have no interest in a stock trans. I am looking to have sonnax upgrades and a built converter installed. I will swap a 6.2lt in at some point. Even then that ikely won't make much more then stock.
