Puddle lamp question

Recommended Posts

Anyone with the factory mirror puddle lamps have this issue? When I unlock the truck, every video I’ve seen has the puddle lamps come on (factory or gmc or Chevrolet emblem) and they stay on until the truck is re locked or the approach lights go out.

my puddle lamps, both factory and gmc emblem, when the truck is unlocked blip on for two seconds and then shut off while the headlights and taillights come on like normal and time out like normal.

The truck is a 2022 refresh at4 if that means anything. I thought maybe the fade on fade off lighting may be causing this but I saw a denali refresh function correctly.

thanks guys

That’s what I figured, I’ll have the dealer check it out. I don’t remember if they worked correctly when I received the truck, but I’m thinking maybe when they replaced the mirrors something got messed up. Both were destroyed upon delivery.

Something is going on. These trucks have too much going on now. Everything is going through a module or computer. Nothing is a simple switch. This used to be a German car issue....now they caught up!! Good luck
