Interior Dash Issue

Recommended Posts

IMG_5364.thumb.jpeg.f4683702bd839e5609669ffc01a4a210.jpegHas anyone else had a problem with their interior dash? I have 2023 Silverado 1500 High Country Refresh that I got about two months ago. It has about 1,200 miles on it. I got the Jet Black/Nightshift Blue interior. I just noticed today on my way to work the black plastic towards the driver's side is raised slightly past the blue leather with stitching on the dash where they meet as part of the dash. This would be the black plastic that has the vents to do the defrost on the front windshield. You can push this area down with your fingers when you press. Is this suppose to be designed this way, or has the plastic slightly warped?

Same issue Ford was having for a number of years. Might be one of those situations where you leave it because the next dash will do the same. Curious to know if others are experiencing this.

I had this issue on my 2016 Sierra SLT. Dealership just replaced the whole plastic piece.  I didn't have an issue with it anymore. I'd get it replaced.
