Seals that dont seal

Recommended Posts

I have the dreaded whistle during cross winds coming from all windows, my dealership says there isn't anything they can do about it. Last week I went to my normal car wash. When I got out to check the wash I noticed the back portion of my sunroof seal was off. I took my truck to the dealer who said it isn't their problem and I will have to pay out of pocket to replace the seal. I dont get it, now I have zero confidence going to a car wash.

So far I have the door seals not working properly, crappy sunroof seals, replaced the front grill due to the coating peeling off, long crank no start. Now I hate my truck and the dealership tells me to kick rocks even with a factory warranty. They told me to go to the chevy dealership because they will fix things easier than GMC.

If you have a full warranty I recommend contacting your local Department of Consumer Protection.  The dealer is required to honor GM's warranty.

Perhaps the Chevy dealer has a body shop and the GMC one doesn't? Usually seals and things of that nature are a body shop issue i thought?
