Crew cab rear under seat storage

I purchased my truck off the lot with the dealer installed "lockable storage" (picture below). The large storage area is nice, but it takes up a lot of room on the floor and makes it difficult for my dog to get comfortable on long trips. Is there an option that does not extend out into the floor area as far? I have a 2020 Silverado LT crew cab with a storage organizer like in your link - it is fitted perfectly to my truck & floor mat. It came with the new truck, not sure if it was part of the rubber floor mat package, or another option. I have two small tackle/tool cases that fit in the long open area for tools, cargo straps, etc.

Looking at the specs online, appears the double cab organizer is about 5.4 inches narrower, so the forward wall should be set back further from the leading edge of the back seat. However, not sure if the double cab model mounts the same and will properly fit in a crew cab truck.

Standard, no-lockable, non-covered under seat storage in my crews is smaller front-to-back that what is in the picture. 

Perhaps about the size of the one in the link above for the double cab. 

 

If you don't need lockable it might be a better solution for pets and/or larger containers that you want to carry on the floor.

I put this into my Silverado Dbl Cab, fits both Dbl & Crew.  Install is OK and once in it is very sturdy and roomy

I have two bigger dogs, and personally, I prefer no storage in the cab with the full coverage rubber floor mats. Lots of room for the dogs with the seats lifted up. Storage in the back under the tonneau cover.
