After missing the Sirius at the Glen with their special team for Boris Said, MB Motorsports is attempting to put together an oval race in '04 and 10-15 races in the 2005 season.

 

Views

If Said wrestles the car around on the ovals like he does on the road courses, he will be a driver to watch (but not necessarily drive behind).

Days after Chip Ganassi announced he would exercise and option on Jamie McMurray contract, rumors abound that the driver may not be happy with the offer.

McMurray started the season as one of the most improved drivers on the circuit, but his results have slid in the last couple of months.

There was also a rumor that McMurray was going to sit out the 2005 cup season, and run the full BGN season in Rusty Wallace's BGN car. It said that in 2006 he would then take over Rusty's Cup car b/c Rusty was retiring.

Rusty came out the other day and said he has plans to race beyond 2005 and that he has no plans to try to get McMurray to drive for Penske after he retires
