4.8???? I've never seen a fullsize SUV with a 4.8! Is it 2wd?

Yes, it is 2WD. The 4.8 is standard engine for the 2003s. I have driven the 5.3 and there is no difference. 285HP on the 4.8 and 290 on the 5.3.
