Anyone help with rough invoice price in Cdn $?

Heading to the dealer this am, to see what kind of price they will toss out the following truck:

05 gmc sierra z71 ex cab

slt trim

only additional options are:

hd trailering pkg

I priced it out on gmcautobuilder.com and the price totalled $49 040 cdn

I figure invoice shud be around 11% off this figure which brings the price down around $43645. Should I then take off any applicable rebates to this figure?

I am also unsure of what the current rebates to 05 gmc trucks are, does anyone know of a url which shows current rebates to cdn customers?

Is this a fair figure to go in and start haggling at, or am I not being realistic?

I am in Calgary, and if anyone knows a good dealership, either in town or relatively nearby, that will sell at invoice minus any rebates, I would love to know.

ya tell me about it.

I got a price of $41 017 + taxes from the first dealer which appears to be pretty fair. This included $2250 in rebates. Any suggestions on where to go from here in terms of getting other dealers working against each other?

was that a cash price or with GMAC loan?

In Calgary you only have GST(7% sales taxes) in Ontario we also have PST 8%

the price quoted was cash price. I have e-mailed the fleet managers for 10 dealers in Calgary, and the surrounding area, with the price I was quoted. Those that choose to reply, will hopefully give me their price which I will then use as the bargaining begins.

I am curious as to whether the price quoted was fair, and if any dealers are just going to tell me that they cannot beat that price.
