CR500 -  That is probably what will end up happening.  My wife's car will need struts before I will need shocks.  Plus I gotta fork over the cash to change the O2 sensors sometime soon.  I can't believe how many I have to buy.

Ryanbabz71 - I caught the tail end of your search for info on different shocks.  Why did you choose the shocks you did and how much did they cost?

Remember, the O2 sensors AFTER the CATS detect the CAT performance and have no effect on the performance of your truck.  So if you are looking for a performance issue, I would replace the two before the CAT.  I might do mine soon.

why i chose them.  Mainly i wanted a HD shock that was a little harsher and not as firm as the tennecos on the Z71 pkg.

I paid $49.99 each it came out to be $216.06 for 4.  Now if they would just get here.

Ryan- are you still waiting for the bilstiens?..........i

changed the shocks on my '00 at 6,000 mi. over to

Edelbrocks.......made a huge difference. no more roll

effect, not to mention that they dampened a lot of the

porpoising that is related to our cement highways with

expansion joints. truck feels more stable than with the

stock shocks that came with the towing package.
