Seatbelt upper trim removal

Recommended Posts

I think this was covered before, but I can't find it, so maybe some that have done it can chime in and help me out.

I want to take the seatbelt upper trim piece (on the top, shoulder of the front seats) off to spray some lube in there to eliminate a squeaking sound I'm getting from both belts. I know they just pop off, but is there a certain way to do it without breaking a tab or something?

Thanks.

On my 01 it just sort of pried out. There were tabs, but it really didn't seem to stress them too much. Haven't tried it yet on the 04, but I imagine it's the same. Just sort of pops off.

Here's a link to the previous discussion you had seen. Good luck
