Got a build date for the 8.1 Sub!

It looks like GM will start putting my truck together on November 19th so it should be here by the 2nd week of December.

I'm still hanging on that HD hood, grill, bumper issue but I'll find a way to get them to fit. The hood won't be a problem, but I haven't been able to find any answers on how to make the grill and bumper assembly tie in. I might have to take two trucks apart to figure it out.

The hoods doable and I think the grille would be also, I was looking at one closely last night, just because I like the big bowtie on it. The only problem would be the bumper. I think the frame mounts might be different on it. I guess that would probably require some fab work on the mounts. But, who knows, it may just bolt up.

I can't wait to hear what that 8.1L will be like once you get the supercharger on it. I just checked out your web-site and saw alot of neat things there.

I'd sure like to have a supercharger put on my 6.0L crewcab. I'll let you know when I scrape up the cash ;) Do you do installs too???

chevy4x4trucks: Thanks for the pictures! I guess it doesn't look to bad with just the hood. The grill should bolt on but it needs the extra room from the HD bumper to fit.

It should fly with the supercharger. My supercharged '01 run 15.87 @ 88.41. It could have ran much quicker but this is a big truck to motivate out of the hole (2.5 60' time).
