Wanted: 2005 Yukon XM Antenna

I have a 2003 Yukon SLT and am looking to replace the bulky XM antenna with the new design low profile XM antenna found on 2005 models (not the 2004 model with the “fin” in the middle). I have located several used ones from $50-$75. Can anyone match or beat this? Also, any advice on replacing the antenna would be appreciated. Thanks!

DaveEd,I'm not sure but I don't think the XM antennas are interchangable.

Again,I could be wrong but I think I remember seeing a bulletin here at the dealership saying they were not interchangable.

I guess the only way to find out is to try it,let me know,I've had some customers in here that wanted to do the same thing.

And I know you have to drop the headliner down to remove the nut holding the antenna in place.

(Buy the way the GM part number your after should be 15205583)

i have a 2004 silverado with xm and mine dosent have a fin ?

fyi you guys....the different design also = different voltage. but do whatever you want.
