Graduated!!

Recommended Posts

You can see what I've done so far in my sig. What next? I'm looking to put several hundred dollars into my truck with some graduation money I got. I've considered so far a K&N FIPK, and Wester's tune. What other things might y'all recommend?

How much money? Ever consider starting a Roth IRA? You will get old someday, and will want to retire with some $ecurity, trust me on that one.....

Sorry, should've been more specific. I'm going to be spending under a grand for sure. I'm all about saving for the future, but my philosophy about graduation gift money is that it is for blowing irresponsibly :seeya:

Congrats on the graduation!

I think you should do a Westers and leave the rest alone.

OR you could buy as many shares of Microsoft as you can afford so in 25 years you can be chillin like a villain while your friends are still slinging hash at a chain of 10 restaurants that YOU will own. (I know, don't listen to the old farts and just blow the dough on mods!) Get an Ameritrade account, too.

Goto vegas.......put your grand on red or black........if you win go double or nothing......if you win you'll have 4 grand.....put another grand on red or black.....if you win you'll have 5 grand...and but a turbo or supercharger. If you lose....you'll still be in vegas.....find a honey to tell your story to.

Or spend it on a custom tune...and maybe an exaughst system to make it sound good.

...just when I thought all you people were being too 'responsible' for my taste :seeya:

I hate to be a "debbie downer," but if this is college graduation then I am probably only a few years your senior. I sold cars during the summers when I was a college student and made a good amount of money. I wasted a lot of it on truck stuff but my dad alwyas made me put $500 of it in an IRA. I would do this and then spend the rest of your money on truck stuff if you want. It is truly amazing to see how much wealth can be accumulated over a period of 35 years by putting relatively insiginificant amounts of money into an investment like this. If you have enough left over do the westers. Also, it would never hurt to put in $250 and see if a family member would match it......
