Chevy to GMC conversion

one of my planned projects for the 88 is to basically conver everything on it to GMC badging. i've taken a fancy to the GMC logo over the bowtie. i'm going to:

 

do the 89-91 4 headlight conversion with a GMC grille

swap out the chevy hood ornament with a GMC one

remove the fender badges

swap out the chevy horn button with a GMC one

replace the Scottsdale dash emblem with a Sierra one

remove the suburban and fuel injection emblems on the tailgate and instead put the letters GMC almost like a trucks tailgate

 

any other idea's , and there wouldn't be any legal ramifcations would there? i'm not altering the vin or anything. i just like the gmc logo over chevy's

i'm no lawyer but I would not think there would be anything illegal aslong as it is still registered as a Chevy I was planning on doing that to my last 4x4. I am kinda partial to GMC as well.
