Blackwall Vs. Outlined letters...

I know this has been asked many of times, but i can't make up my mind. On some tires the white letters look real good, so its a no brainer, but I'm not sure on the Geolanders. I'm getting them this weekend cuz discount is having a tent sale so I figured what better time. Anyone got some pics of either or, maybe in larger sizes like 285? Thanks..

Kind of depends on the color of your truck, your wheels, your tastes, and the current market price of a bushel of rice in China at the time of purchase.

I have 285's on my 2500HD, black side out. It's the look I wanted, tough, and not too much gingerbread. The aluminum wheels look good with blackwalls. Click on my vehicle (click on view vehicles under my id on the left side of the page). There's a good pic there, during sunset, which colored the tires kind of reddish, but it's a clear pic and you can get the look.

I'm partial to white letters out, especially when it's solid white letters like the BF Goodrich TA KO's. However, if you're one who doesn't keep the truck clean all the time, dirty white letters have their downside. Ultimately it's your choice and as long as you're happy who cares what someone else thinks.

I did not put them out when I had Geolanders on my truck because they are very raised, meaning they really stick out from the tire. One close encounter with the curb, and they would look like crap. While I am not one to hit curbs, sh!t happens, and I did not want to get them flipped because a curb reached out and brushed my tires.
