spham Posted December 24, 2001 Posted December 24, 2001 Helix power tower, poweraid, ect... were designed for TBI engines right? what good can they do for SFI engines like mine?
95 Silverado Posted December 24, 2001 Posted December 24, 2001 A TBI unit looks and fits on an engine very much like a carburetor, it is centrally mounted on top of the intake manifold. the spacer is placed between the TBI unit and the intake manifold to simulate a hi-rise type intake, for the power increase. The SFI and multi-port engines are designed totally different, the spacer will not fit, and the improved design of the intake makes it unnecessary.
spham Posted December 24, 2001 Author Posted December 24, 2001 Thanks, that certainly saved me some hassle
