Picked her Thursday, new paint and they back it up against a pine tree :wtf: Pulled around front side of used car lot, Manager must have known I was going to look, he showed up behind me and asked if anything was wrong. Tailgate was covered in pinhead bubbles of paint (dirt in the paint) Long scratch along the bottom, about 8", crosses over to under the tail light. Fisheye over the Chevrolet emblem. Screws all chewed up from taking the plastic rail off the tailgate. :banghead::shakehead: I just looked at him and said what the he!! is this? He said to bring it back next week after it cures and they'll wet sand it. Said thanks, that'll be trip # 10 in 8 months.

They did fix my a/c and even checked the loud noise I complained about when it was on, blower motor was shorting so they replaced it...............I have a/c.

I was so miffed about the truck, I took it right back Friday morning. Told him to keep it till the tailgate was right. He pulled out a pick pen to circle all the blemishes, when I left he had at least 20 if not more, told him to turn it around and put the sun on it, he'll find a hundred more. :mad:

Late Friday night I went up to see if they had done anything, which they have wet sanded it, even washed it for once. It was shaded but I could still see the fisheye and the scratch under the tailight. When I went by this morning it is still in the same spot, hasn't moved. They haven't called me to come and get it. I am waiting.

I will refuse to take the truck and tell them to put a new tailgate on or else they can keep the d**n thing. :rolleyes::(

I believe this is personal now.

I am so angry!

That is totally unacceptable! I'd be turning my lawyer loose on those jerks. That's no way to run a business.

That's next mightyhd. I'm just waiting for the call.

I'll be driving by it in the morning, we'll see if it's moved yet.

I was doing some math.........5 times for the muffler + 3 times for the tailgate = 8 divided by 4 = 2 lemons :rolleyes::banghead:

WOW ! Lisa you sure do have problems with your trucks !!!!!!!!

I figure if that service mgr. guy had 1/2 a brain and you were

not happy with your tailgate he would of swapped one off a

new truck on the lot (and not told you) and NO one would be

the wiser! Now it has a scratch near the light?

I dont understand why you keep going to this same imcompitent dealer! :banghead: Even if you have to drive 3 states over it sounds like you would save your self time by going to a dealer that can get the job done right.

In PA 3 attempts to fix a problem results in the lemon law being applicable. My brother went through something simular and got 300 bucks and his truck fixed.
